We stopped there on our over night on the way to Atlanta. Got there about 11 PM, on a Tuesday night, not very crowded but had a nice time.
Turned out the owner was from my home town of Racine, and then the guy sitting next to me was from Racine originally also. So there were probably more people from Racine in that bar at that time, then there would have been in Racine's only gay bar, Jodee's.
Would defnitely go to again.

This place like alot of the other bars in Nashville Isn't all that friendly despite what the reviews say.The gay people here are polarized. It seems that the people who are not natives are friendlier, but can't be sure.It could be me I always try to be cordial when going to a new place but I found the other patrons creepy or just plain catty.....

If you like the smaller more cozy kinda place then Blue Genes is for you. We love to go and play pool on Friday nites. The staff is friendly & make everyone feel welcome. A more mature crowd hangs out there.
So, what do you say?
