New this year, before the TDOR ceremony begins, some folks have organized a march to Scarritt-Bennett in the form of "The Resilience Walk." Those interested in participating are encouraged to meet at 6:30pm at the intersection of Scarritt Place and 21st Ave (near Ben & Jerry’s). Posters, signs, and candles will be available to those who wish to march in solidarity and in showcasing the strength and resilience of the trans community of Nashville.
TDOR ceremony begins at 7:00PM. A reception with light refreshments and community partners will follow the ceremony.
For more information, questions, or if you would like to volunteer at the event, please contact Liv Parks at liv.parks@vanderbilt.edu.
In solidarity.
